What We Do
Our programs enable the education and cultivation of policy leaders at the Capitol. We work to provide real-world knowledge and know-how, enabling Legislators and staff to better understand our state’s energy ecosystem.

Join Us at the 2026 PowerPlayer Awards!
Join policymakers, legislative staff, and innovation leaders as we celebrate the Capitol staffers graduating from PowerHouse Texas’ 2026 Energy Academy and recognize a new cohort of emerging leaders working across policy, industry, and the nonprofit sector. The Energy Academy is a three month flagship program that equips senior level legislative staff with the knowledge required for energy and natural resource policymaking. The PowerPlayer Awards provide our community a rare opportunity to step back from the day-to-day work and reflect on where Texas energy is headed—and who is helping move it forward.
